Dec 2009 : Beats Shane Vinsant and Tiago Fernandes [2010 Australian Open champion] at the Dunlop Orange Bowl, losing to 5th seed Mitchell Frank 7-5, 7-5 in round of last 16.
Dec 2009 : Nominated in the final top 10 shortlist of the BBC Young Sports Personality of the Year
Oct 2009 : Oliver represents Team GB and reaches the final of the junior Davis Cup in Mexico
Sep 2009 : Becomes the youngest ever British no.1 junior player at age 15
Sep 2009 : At age 15, becomes the youngest competitor at the US Open this year and beats Japanese WC Takeshi Endo 6-1, 7-5 in qualiying. June 2009 : Receives a wild card into Roehampton ITF event starting 22 June 2009
June 2009 : Beats top seed Mate Zsiga 6-3, 6-3 and reaches his first ITF G2 final in Budapest
May 2009 : By beating Richard Gabb 6-4, 6-7, 6-4 at the Newcastle F7 Futures tournament on May 11, 2009, Oliver becomes the youngest player in Great Britain to receive an ATP world ranking.
Jan 2009 : Wins the ITF G4 Vasteras International in Sweden beating top seed Tobias Blomgren 7-5, 6-3
Jan 2009 : Reaching his first ITF G4 final, losing to top seed Andrei Vasilevski
